News That May Not Matter

Back From NY.

People always seem to discuss the similarities of San Francisco to New York and after my brief time in the east, I have concluded that there aren't many.  New York is hectic; from quartets on the F train asking for some change to a Dominican roach coach that sells pig ears from 11pm to 6am in Washington Heights, these are not things I have come close to experiencing in San Francisco(if you have please let me know).  But it is an amazing city nonetheless.  I ate some of the best food in my life and met some interesting people.  And I would also like to say that the stereotype of the rude New Yorker is only that, a stereotype.  Everybody I encountered was very friendly and pleasant(with the exception of the guy with dreads doing track stands behind the counter at the WESC store in SoHo who thought he was so cool because he was watching the MASHSF video. Get off your high horse.)

I took my Nikon and my Canon but mainly stuck with the Nikon.  Its nice being forced to use only one lens(28mm 2.8) because then you really have to think about composition.  So I have a few rolls to develop and hope they come out well and it got pretty tough not using a flash and tripod in the latter hours of the day.

Also, If you did not notice in the "About Me" section I have declared my photos to be up for sale.  In all honesty, I never thought about selling these but thought if someone is down to buy, I'm down to sell.

Cheers.
